Training will be Free when Monkeys can Fly

HOLD ON! Let’s take a closer look.

Use Installation Credits to pay for Training
HP Partners that are authorized to sell and service HP DesignJet printers may have access to installation and training credits that can fully pay for their certification training expenses.

Installation is actually a warranty service, which means that it should be performed by technicians that are certified on the products that they are installing. At the conclusion of each printer installation there is an End of Installation (EOI) procedure and report that is performed by the installing technician and in conjunction with the end customer. There are Installation and Training financial credits that are tied to the EOI reports for many of the current DesignJet printers so the completion of the EOI procedures are important.

These credits are significant and generally a partner could fully pay for a technician’s certification training by selling and installing 3 or 4 units. This means that, any partner that has confidence that their sales volumes will meet or exceed their product sales quotas, can fully train and certify 2 techs per year and still have money left over.
