WISE for HP Channel Services Delivery Partners

HP’s internal technical support portal, called WISE, is available to service-authorized channel partners through an integration with the HP Partner Portal.

S4T has been teaching technicians to use the WISE resource for well over a year. It’s not referenced in the HP course materials but we know it adds value so we add it to the training.

WISE for Channel enables channel partners to access HP technical support documentation, service manuals, user guides, videos, and general support information in a mobile-friendly environment. Users can also access product-specific drivers and firmware through the WISE Product Detail Pages.

To access WISE for Channel, partners start at the HP Partner Portal. The HP Partner Portal authenticates channel partners and transmits key channel partner authorization data to WISE. To access WISE from the HP Partner Portal, select Services & Support > Services Delivery > Technical Support > Technical Documentation.

For one-click access to WISE from the HP Partner Portal, create a Dashboard link using the following steps:
– On the Home page, scroll down to and click Customize your dashboard
– In the search field, type WISE
– When the search results display, click the Add button next to the WISE Technical Documentation item in the list
– Click the “x” in the top right corner of the Dashboard tools dialog to close it
– Find the WISE item on your Dashboard, and then click Go to open WISE

NOTE: If you experience trouble accessing WISE from the HP Partner Portal, click the Get Support icon which is available on most pages of the portal.
