To Train or not to Train … that is the question!

To Train or not to Train … that is the question!

Yes these are trying and very strange times with many factors that affect decision making. But through all of the noise we made what we believe to be a responsible decision to get back into the classroom and ensure that HP Partners have the opportunity to get the Service Authorizations that they need.

Factors Considered:

  • HP training policy for A3 – no training
  • HP training policy for DesignJet – training allowed
  • HP DesignJet Partners – have their own policies
    • Training in general – allow / prohibit
    • Travel in general – allow / prohibit
    • Travel outside of their state of work residence – allow / prohibit
  • State operating guidelines and restrictions for each of our locations
  • Current status and statistics for each state where we operate

Most important of all – can we be safe for you our customers and for ourselves? With a safety first approach we decided to re-open our training center in Troy, MI.

Safety Controls for our Training Center:

  • Building has social distancing signs posted at entries and in all common areas – 6 Feet distancing
  • Hand sanitizer is available upon entry of the building
  •  Class attendance limited to 6 participants and class set up supports social distance guidelines
  • Masks are required for all students
  • Instructor will wear a mask
  • Sanitized Tools will be available for each student – Technicians are encourage to bring their own tools if they are uncomfortable using the in-house tools.
  • Equipment has been sanitized with 99.99% alcohol
  • Gloves are available to all students
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in the class

Every effort will be given to every student to ensure their own safety. If a student does not feel safe in the classroom, we will make efforts to accommodate their safety and make the changes needed.

ALL of the above safety measures meet or exceed the State requirements for re-opening. If additional requirements are implemented between now and the time of the event, we will take the necessary action to ensure your technicians safety.

Our classes are running so come and get the certifications you need!
