Keep Calm and Provide Qualified Service

As we all adjust to new and different working conditions it is always a welcome event when we receive good news. We were happy to hear that HP is extending the claim period for submitting installation credit claims.

Just as important – please remember, installation credits should be Service Revenue and installations must be performed by properly service qualified technicians. That means that if a technician is installing a DesignJet Z6, he or she must be Service Qualified on the T1700/Z6/Z9 Family.

Announcement excerpt –

HP extends Installation and Training claim period
Instead of the normal 30-day claiming period, HP is doubling the timeframe to allow time to arrange installations at customer sites and collect necessary proof of performance. To further assist our partners in completing their HP printer installation, any HP installation through September 30, 2020 will be allowed a 60-day period to submit the installation claim.
